The concept or idea behind the banner system is to help steer or direct your website visitors in the direction you want them to head. For example if you have a special or specific product you want to showcase, use the AD banner to grab the attention of your visitors.

The banners module is setup to allow an administrator to upload banner ads to the website in pre-determined banner locations. The banners module will allow an administrator to upload a banner to the website, include an image and link. After a banner is added, stats will be available on that specific banner which will display how many views the banner has received compared to clicks.
