Symetric Productions is committed to making their customers' ideas even more memorable. Just ask Joe Jones. As the owner and vice president of Symetric Productions, he and his team have built a strong reputation for providing a variety of marketing services to the Niagara Region and the world.
Based at 196 King Street in St. Catharines, Symetric Productions is a leading graphic design firm, providing the latest in design, creativity and customer service. Their extensive range of services includes graphic design, printing, web design, software development, database design, web hosting, domain registration, e-commerce, interactive DVDs, PowerPoint presentations, animation and video.
According to Joe, versatility is one of their firm's biggest assets. "We've done everything from vehicle wraps to websites to DVD covers," he says. “And that gives us a distinct advantage over our competition. We’re also experts at problem-solving. Our motto is ‘If you can think it, we can make it happen’—and over the years, we’ve helped dozens of companies to bring their ideas to life and realize their potential.”
Symetric Productions started out modestly enough. Joe and Ryan Trinder, his business partner and creative director, originally met at the World Impact Bible Institute in St. Catharines where Joe was studying to become a pastor and Ryan was working as a graphic designer. In 2001, the two of them decided to launch Symetric Productions as a part-time graphic and web development firm. Since that time, Symetric has grown dramatically, doubling its client work each year and becoming a full-time operation in 2005. Joe and Ryan have also added more staff to meet the increased demand.
Over the years, Symetric’s client list has included everything from small businesses and large corporations to celebrities and motion pictures. They’ve also done work for customers in such faraway places as Africa, England, Australia and Brazil.
More recently, Symetric Productions has worked on several film projects including “Hidden Secrets” starring John Schneider and “The Wager” starring Randy Travis, developing marketing material such as websites, posters, tickets and DVD jackets. They’re working closely with Pure Flix Entertainment—a big budget family and faith-based film company—to develop a web application that can allow their staff to create in-house websites for their various movie titles. The Symetric team is also busy working with Sheridan College to develop websites that are geared towards a senior audience.
Despite his heavy workload, Joe always finds time to help others in need. For the past 15 years, Joe has volunteered with Love Haiti Missions as a co-founder and board member. Right now, he’s busy planning a return to Haiti to help out with the devastation there and provide humanitarian aid. To Joe, his volunteer work—and his successes at Symetric—make every day an adventure.
“We’re very proud of the work we’ve done at Symetric over the years,” he says. “Right now, our goal is to become a leader in website development and web application in Niagara and southern Ontario. We aim to achieve nothing but the very best.”
